THE STERILISATION
PROGRAM

According to some estimates, India has as many as 30 million street dogs – 1 for every 42 Indians! Through this Program, we help curb the ever-growing street dog population by organizing safe Sterilisation Drives across India. At the Foundation, we aspire to sterilise dogs in areas that are economically weak, remote or more than often overlooked. The dogs are sterilised, kept for post – op care and then released back into the exact same territory they were picked up from – safe & sound!

Each successful pick up and release makes us do mini cartwheels because we know that these sterilised dogs will not only have a chance to live a longer & healthier life but also a life where the female dogs will not have to witness the death of their little ones due to unfortunate circumstances.
